When we rely on the external world, we are always doubtful and fearful. We have a tendency to look for approval and, worst, we strive to control people and things. This is untrue power...ephemeral power that doesn't last. However, when we rely on ourselves we are neither doubtful nor fearful. We don't need approval and we don't try to control people or things. We realize that everyone else is like us...a spirit in disguise. Indeed, a spirit that feels neither inferior nor superior to any other spirit. This is true power...eternal power that never dies.
